PERSONAL EXPRESSION
Claim a Minute is a public archive for people. Personal messages, memories, dedications, creative work, reflections, and other non-commercial self-expression are welcome.
Ordinary disagreement, criticism, emotion, and personal storytelling are allowed when they do not cross the safety and rights boundaries below.
LAUNCH CONTENT
At launch, a minute page can include a display name, title, short message, one public HTTPS link, an optional Spotify track link with its title and artist, and an approved theme. File uploads, including images, video, and audio, are not available. Do not submit a link or description as a workaround for content that would be prohibited on the page itself.
SAFETY
Do not submit content that:
- is illegal or facilitates illegal activity;
- contains or promotes child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, or any sexual content involving minors;
- threatens, praises, instructs, or encourages violence;
- promotes hate or targeted harassment against a person or group;
- shows graphic gore or is designed primarily to shock or disgust;
- contains explicit sexual content;
- promotes, instructs, or encourages self-harm;
- reveals private personal information, enables doxxing, or creates a serious privacy or safety risk;
- impersonates someone or makes deceptive identity claims; or
- contains spam, scams, phishing, malware, malicious redirects, or unsafe links.
RIGHTS AND PERMISSIONS
Submit only material you created or are allowed to use. Do not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Giving credit does not replace permission when permission is required.
PEOPLE, NOT BRANDS
Minute pages cannot be used for corporate advertising, branded promotional campaigns, sponsorships, product launches, affiliate marketing, commercial bulk acquisition, or coordinated spam. A person may mention their life, work, or personal project when the page remains genuinely personal and is not an advertisement.
SCREENING AND PUBLICATION
New content and meaningful edits are private while required checks run. Submitted text is screened automatically, public links are checked for known safety threats, and commercial signals may send a submission for review. A provider error does not publish new content.
Content may be delayed, rejected, or held for a manual decision. An existing approved version may stay public while a replacement is checked. Passing automated checks does not guarantee publication if a report, legal concern, or later review identifies a problem.
REPORTS AND ENFORCEMENT
Visitors can privately report a minute page. We may consider reports, automated results, manual review, legal requests, context, severity, and previous violations when deciding what to do.
We may reject, hide, or remove content and restrict publishing access. Serious or repeated violations may result in loss of publishing access. Hiding content does not automatically make the minute available for someone else to claim.
