FAQ / PLAIN ANSWERS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
Plain answers about claiming, managing, and publishing a minute.
CLAIMING A MINUTE
Claim a Minute is a public archive with one page for each of the 525,600 minutes in a standard year. People can claim an available page and use it for personal expression.
You get control of that recurring minute page within Claim a Minute, subject to the Terms and Content Policy. You are not buying time, property, cryptocurrency, or an investment.
Each page is identified only by month, day, hour, and minute. For example, September 14 at 22:47 is the same canonical page every year.
UTC gives everyone one shared reference. Local times can change by place or daylight saving time, but the page’s UTC minute stays the same.
Yes. A claim costs €2 once. There is no subscription, annual charge, or renewal fee.
We confirm the payment on the server before completing the claim. A browser success screen alone does not claim the minute. Once confirmed, you can manage the minute from the purchasing browser, and we send confirmation to the purchase email.
Yes. You can claim multiple available minutes overall. Each checkout covers one minute, and you may have only one active reservation or checkout flow at a time.
It is not part of the archive. Claim a Minute uses a standard non-leap year, so the calendar goes from February 28 directly to March 1.
YOUR PAGE
At launch, you can add a display name, title, short message, a public HTTPS link, an optional Spotify track link with its title and artist, and a page theme. File uploads are not available. Everything must follow the Content Policy.
Yes. Open My Minutes to save a private draft or request publication. A new edit does not replace the public version until its required checks pass.
New content and edits are screened before publication. Checks can take time, and content stays private if a required check fails, is unavailable, or needs review.
Open My Minutes, enter the email linked to your claim, and use the one-time six-digit code sent to that address. The purchasing browser may also offer secure access immediately after payment is confirmed.
