ABOUT THE SERVICE
Claim a Minute is a public archive made from 525,600 canonical minute pages. A claim lets you control one available recurring minute page within the service and submit personal content for publication.
A claim is not ownership of time, land, intellectual property in the service, cryptocurrency, an investment, or any other financial asset.
ELIGIBILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms and must use a payment method and email address you are entitled to use. You are responsible for the information and content you submit and for keeping access to your email and signed-in browser secure.
Do not use the service for someone else without their permission or interfere with reservations, payments, moderation, security, or other people’s use of the archive.
CANONICAL MINUTES AND UTC
The archive represents one standard non-leap year. Each minute is identified by month, day, hour, and minute in UTC, without a year. February 29 is excluded. Local time conversions do not change a minute’s canonical UTC identity.
PRICE, RESERVATIONS AND CHECKOUT
The price is €2 as a one-time payment for one minute. There is no subscription or renewal fee. The service sets the price and currency on the server.
Starting checkout temporarily reserves the selected minute for ten minutes. The reservation can expire or be released if checkout is not completed, payment cannot be confirmed, or setup fails. Concurrent attempts do not create more than one valid claim for a minute.
You may claim multiple available minutes overall, but you may have only one active reservation or checkout flow at a time. Each checkout covers one minute.
WHEN A CLAIM IS VALID
A paid claim becomes valid only after Claim a Minute receives and verifies authoritative payment confirmation on the server and completes the claim in its records. A checkout callback, redirect, receipt, or browser success screen is not enough by itself. Duplicate or mismatched payment events do not create a second claim.
MANAGING YOUR MINUTE
After confirmation, the purchasing browser may receive secure access to manage the minute. You can also open My Minutes and request a one-time access code at the email address linked to the claim.
Access credentials, codes, links, and sessions are personal. Do not forward or share them. We may expire or revoke access credentials for security, while preserving any claim status that remains valid.
YOUR CONTENT
You keep any rights you already hold in content you submit. You give Claim a Minute permission to store, process, review, reproduce, adapt for technical display, and show that content as needed to operate your minute page and the archive.
You must have all rights and permissions needed for your content, including names, text, links, artwork, and other protected material. Your submission must follow the Content Policy and applicable law.
MODERATION AND ENFORCEMENT
Submitted content may be processed, screened, delayed, sent for review, rejected, hidden, or removed. New or edited content may remain private until required checks pass. We may act on automated checks, reports, manual review, legal requests, and security concerns.
Serious or repeated violations may lead to restricted or lost publishing access or removal of content. Hiding content does not automatically make the minute available for someone else to claim.
PERSONAL USE, NO TRANSFER OR RESALE
Minute pages are for people and personal expression. Corporate advertising, branded campaigns, sponsorships, commercial bulk acquisition, and other prohibited promotional use are not allowed. Claims cannot be transferred, assigned, resold, traded, pledged, or treated as investments or financial assets.
REFUNDS AND PAYMENT ERRORS
Sales are generally final. Duplicate charges and technical payment failures may be corrected or refunded after verification. Nothing in these Terms limits refund, withdrawal, or other consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
We may maintain, secure, update, limit, or change the service and its supported features. Claim a Minute is provided on an as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that every submitted item will be published.
We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. The date shown on this page identifies the current version. Material changes will apply prospectively to the extent required by law.
SHUTDOWN AND NO PERPETUAL HOSTING
Claim a Minute does not guarantee permanent operation, lifetime access, or eternal hosting. If the service stops operating, continued access to claimed pages, management tools, content, or exports cannot be guaranteed.
DISCLAIMERS AND LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. You are responsible for keeping copies of content that matters to you and for how you use third-party links and services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Claim a Minute is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use, or changes to the service. Nothing here excludes or limits liability or mandatory rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
